Important Legislation

New Legislation commences on the 1st January 2010

The Assisted Reproductive Technology Act 2007 and the Assisted Reproductive Technology Regulation 2009 will commence on 1 January 2010. If your treatment involves the use of donor gametes, we would highly recommend that you take the time to familiarise yourself with these documents, both of which can be downloaded from the NSW Government website www.legislation.nsw.gov.au.

Covers lifestyle factors that can enhance or reduce your chances of conceiving.


Fertility Fitness

Covers the Fertility Fitness program, which aims to enhance a woman's fertility and self-esteem, prior to starting any treatment program, through weight loss, exercise and psychological support.


Fertility Feelings

Covers the counselling services offered at Fertility First, offers some general tips for coping and provides information about the Unit counsellor and the Fertility Feelings program. The program is a 10 week course to reduce anxiety and depression levels, with the aim of enhancing your chances of conceiving, your relationship and your ability to deal with treatment cycles.
